I just got this great new shirt today from Find the Good – a small company supporting mental health with clothing, community and donations.
A friend of mine shared a post wearing their gear, mentioned them and their cause, and I immediately ordered a shirt of my own.
I love supporting local. I love supporting small. I love supporting mission-centric companies spreading good in the world.
It got me thinking about some of the other companies I support who fall into this category, and I thought I would share a few of them.
- ApeMan Strong – an apparel company who believes strong has many forms … “Apeman exists to inspire and empower people to overcome their mental, emotional, and physical obstacles that limit their potential for greatness.”
- Old Lady Gains – an apparel company and brand solely dedicated to designing empowering shirts for women over 35 years old.
- Zox – a family owned business that produces a line of one-of-a-kind wristbands, as well as jewelry, hoodies and bags. Their mission is to change the world with kind words.
- Lochby – a maker of premium notebooks and accessories whose mission is to empower individuals to create.
- The Silver Edge – run by Kevin English, a personal trainer and nutrition coach, who helps and inspires men and women over 50 become their strongest, healthiest, most vital selves. His excellent podcast can be founds their as well.
- Kogalla – creators of the “straplight” – a unique LED trail light that outperforms headlamps and flashlights.
I’ll share more in the coming months, but those are some of my favorites.
