What I learned this week (or was reminded of).
1. As leaders, our words carry a lot of weight. They will be reviewed, scrutinized, and interpreted deeply and repeatedly. Just a good reminder to slow down a little bit, and be more calculating and thoughtful in our communications. However, this is not an excuse to be anything other than authentic.
2. Don’t ever be afraid to be enthusiastic. Your passion, even if you think it makes you look foolish, can be a powerful force for good.
3. Life can get in the way and make you miss the people closest to you. Find time to reconnect.
4. Great teams have the most trust.
5. Consistency is often the secret sauce. Anyone can be consistent.
